Hello students and parents of Hudson High School! Welcome to another school year...
This is my first year teaching at Hudson High School. I relocated with my husband and two children to the area from Amelia Island, FL. I am a graduate of the University of Georgia in Biological Engineering and I have an accumulated 18 years experience in education of children and adults so I am very excited to be here. I also am a Certified CrossFit & Endurance Trainer, USA Weightlifting Coach and USA Track & Field Coach. I look forward to the challenges and rewards your child and I will encounter over the next nine months. My goal is to pass on a love of science and health & fitness to your child as well as help them learn to apply the love of learning to their daily lives. I encourage you to assist me with this by communicating with your child, asking them questions about our activities and ensuring they are staying on track.
During this school year, I will wear a variety of different hats and mix each day with Athletics, Biology, and Specialty Science classes! You may find me in many different locations of the school at any given moment and I'm often "dressed for the occasion" so don't be surprised at tennis shoes or athletic gear:)
Your child has been given a Course Syllabus and Classroom Procedures Handout to put us all on the same page for the expectations of the upcoming year. I have very high standards and goals for my students and I hope that you will encourage your child to set that same standard for themselves.
This blog should help you find information about what we are doing in class on a regular basis. The site may also be accessed through the Hudson ISD High School website. You can always contact me at any point with questions or concerns. Email () is the most effective method of contact. You may call me at the school during my conference period () at 936-875-.
I am looking forward to this year with you and your child! Please let me know if I can do anything to help make this year a fantastic experience.
Best Wishes,
E. Tricey Godfrey
